A Bloomington woman, involved in a one car accident on Sunday, is recovering in Greene County, hospital officials said.
The 21-year-old woman was listed in serious condition in the critical care unit of Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was driving northbound on Indiana 57 near County Road 200 South when her vehicle crossed the center line, began to skid and crashed into a guardrail, according to Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
Witnesses say her 2002 Kia flipped several times before crashing a rock covered embankment and rolling into a field where she came to rest, trapped inside.
Air-Evac transported her to the hospital where she was listed in critical condition. By Monday night she was upgraded to serious condition.
